A monument is dedicated to the Hero of Soviet Union V. G. Serov. Installed by Komsomol members of the Kurganinsky area. Vladimir Georgiyevich Serov was born in the village Kurgannaya. During the Great Patriotic war was a pilot of fighter aviation.
