A Maikop aeroclub, named after Hero of the Soviet Union Gromov M. M., was based here in 1934. The monument was installed in honor of the pilots from town Maikop, who fought for our Motherland during the Great Patriotic war of 1941 - 1945. Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten.
