Duck/tracker and Be.18 updated. But latest pictures I could find of the Tracker and H-19 still show them in a bad stored state (outside). I will leave status as is for now, but of course that can be updated when it turns out both are indeed preserved outside now in a better condition.
Posted on 2 December 2023 by Admin4111 is a S2F-1 (or S-2A) Tracker, not a Duck. Together with the H-19C, it has now been moved to the outside display area next to the main hangar. The C6N1 is under restoration, and now almost a complete fuselage, and is on display during the 2023 season openings. Be18 JT001 has been identified as former JA5030 (c/n 6653, ex UC-45F 43-35888).
Posted on 14 August 2023 by AntheiiAlso preserved at some point, but gone from the display hangar: R22 'JA7707', Calabria 7AC 'JA3156', unmarked PA-20 (cut away), unmarked Mita glider. In the storage area, but probably gone, PT-17 '/553'.
Posted on 16 April 2022 by AntheiiIn the storage areas: S2F-1 '4111' (forward fuselage), Lake LA-4-200 'JA3663' and two unidentified Beech 18s, of which one is marked as 'JT001' with JAL titles.
Posted on 16 April 2022 by AntheiiAlso preserved: A6M5 (Type 52) '1493/豹-187', A6M2 (Type 21) '92717' (cut away), Unmarked Nakajima Ki-43 (Type 1), Nakajima Ki-43 (Type 2) '6750', Nakajima C6N1 '1290' (centre fuselage), Pitts S2B 'JA4130', Yokosuka K5Y1 (Type 93) 'カ-753' (which might be a replica),
Posted on 16 April 2022 by AntheiiNo longer preserved are the H-23A, L-19E and L-21B. The H-19 and Ka-26 in the storage area
Posted on 16 April 2022 by AntheiiCorrection, the restoration hangar seems to be open for public
Posted on 26 October 2018 by Erwin AlexanderThere is also another hangar normally not open for public with several WW2 restoration projects (Mainly A6M's)
